Fujitsu has announced the availability of its SH771 Lifebook 13.3" notebook. It has been designed specifically for professionals which explains the price tag of between $1800 and $2500 depending on the specifications. The laptop is just 22.3mm thick and weighs in at around 1.2kg. Powered by Intel's second generation Sandy Bridge processors you can have a 2.5 GHz Core i5-2520M or 2.8 GHz Core i7-2640M. The screen is LED backlit 13.3" panel with a 1366 by 768 resolution powered by Intel HD 3000 graphics. The keyboard is spill resistant. A BluRay writer is optional but the standard models come with DVD-RW drives. Fujitsu also gives the choice of a 128GB SSD for rapid boot times and minimal storage or a 750GB HDD for slower boot times but with more onboard storage.

The SH771 also boasts a webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, an SD card slot, an ExpressCard 34 slot, one USB 3.0 port, a HDMI output, and 6-cell battery. If you want more battery life than the standard 9.5 hours you can swap the optical drive with a 3-cell battery - this setup enables up to 14 hours of operation.
