Google Chrome 14 out

Google's Chrome browser is rapidly becoming the most popular browser overtaking Firefox in many markets and gaining on Internet Explorer with staggering speed if you consider it has only been around for about 3 years.
The Google Chrome 14 update can be done manually if your Chrome browser hasn't done it for you automatically and the Chrome 14 download can be foundhere.
Google says there have been two major changes to Chrome 14 over Chrome 13 which will allow developers to create better, more powerful and more functional web applications and games:
  • The web audio API allows developers to add new audio effects such as room simulation and spatialization effects.
  • Native client has been updated to allow the simultaneous in-browser execution of C and C++ coding which is safe and secure and not vulnerable to attacks.
For Mac Users there are some Safari-like features such as overlay scrollbars which only appear when scrolling or a natively supported full screen mode.
If you want to test the latest beta version of Chrome then you can get your hands on the most recent beta version from here. Or if you want to trial the development mode of Chrome then you can get your hands on Chrome 15 from here.
