Gainward announces overclocking competition

Gainward, a producer of video cards, has announced a competition which runs until September the 26th. The rules are simple using a video card of your choice (does not have to be Gainward) you have to try and get the highest possible score on 3DMark 11 on the performance preset. The first prize is $1000 US Dollars, second place gets a Gainward GTX 580 Phantom 3 and third place gets a Gainward GTX 570 Phantom 3 video card.

In addition to that contest there is another contest this one requires you to match up your 3DMark score with the number of the giveaway card, so for example if the week is a GTX 560 giveaway you have to get for example X1560 or P3560. In the case that more than one person gets the correct numbers a random person will be selected from amongst them. The prizes for that include a GTX 560, 570 and 580. Winners of this competition cannot resubmit their entries when a repeat giveaway is hosted.
