Nvidia released the latest version of its GeForce software suite today, version 275.50, although still in Beta form it now offers official and functional SLI support. As you may have read before there have been problems with getting SLI to work on the new 9 series boards, read more about that here.
This now means that all 990FX, 990 and 970 chipset motherboards will now be able to officially run SLI. Obviously if the board is not SLI certified and equipped with a sufficient number of PCI-E slots then SLI will not be possible but the opportunity is there on the mid-high range 9 series AMD motherboards.
In addition to the above change the GeForce 275.5 driver update also brought a larger number of 3D profiles for the newest gaming titles such as:
Duke Nukem Forever
Duke Nukem Forever Demo
Rise of the Immortals
Rusty Hearts
Alice: Madness Returns
Although technically this is still a BETA driver which means it is not covered by product warranties it is expected to be made official in the coming days. You can download it from here.
