EVGA Nex Series power supplies spotted

According to leaked images, EVGA is planning the launch of a range of power supplies to go under the name of NEX. These power supplies are in typical EVGA fashion of very high quality and The company isn't new to PSUs, as it had rolled out a SuperRecord-branded 1200W PSU in the past. The NEX series unlike past EVGA power supplies is different because it targets a wide range of price points coming in with 650W, 750W, 1000W and 1500W models. With the 650W and 750W power supplies targeted at single or double GPU systems with mild overclocks while the 1000W and 1500W are targeted at much more high end systems that pull a lot of power.

The EVGA NEX 1500W will include "customizable" +12V rails, we're hearing. It will probably be a mechanism with which a number of smaller 12V rails can be combined to make a larger one. It will feature a "Dummy Mode" for multiple/redundant PSU operations, an "OC Mode" that clubs all 12V rails to a single 133A one, and a very special kind of cabling. The PSU will qualify for 80 Plus Gold certification. The 650W, 750W, and 1000W models in the NEX Series will have more standard feature-sets, including modular cabling, all three of these will be 80 Plus Gold certified.
