Apple shows off the "Siri" Voice Interaction software

Apple left the biggest announcement to the end, their unique "Siri" application which acts as your Personal Assisstant. You can ask your iPhone 4S questions and give it voice commands and it will act intelligently to what you say. Apple bought the Siri App a long way back in April last year and has spent a long time perfecting it and implementing it into the iOS 5. You can ask your iPhone 4S many questions such as the ones shown in the picture above and it will react appropriately, for example ask it "what is the weather like today" and it will run a weather app to get you the latest weather. Or command it "wake me up tomorrow at 6am" and it will set your alarm clock for 6am for the next day.
Although the Siri is not an iPhone 4S exclusive it is safe to say it will probably be that way for a long time since the software is built around the iOS 5 and requires quite a demanding hardware set up to run which only the iPhone 4S can meet. If Siri works well it is sure to be an impressive achievement since no one has really mastered the art of intelligent voice recognition software just yet.
