Tegra 2 based tablets have been dropping in thickness and price for a long time now making them more and more competitive, he stated that at the $400 mark a 7inch Wi-Fi Tegra 2 based tablet was well placed in the market, which suggests that the older versions were not priced right but he didn't officially say that. Huang cited the Galaxy 10.1 and ASUS Transformer as examples of highly successful tablets where Tegra 2 was doing what it should be doing.
Apparently, sales were "Wonderful" although most of us now that is not strictly true. Tablets are being very unresponsive to consumers except for Apple who is having a massive success with the iPad. Huang said that sales of Tegra 2 based systems accounted for 30% of the market, we are unsure whether that includes Apple's sales or not. But one thing is for certain if the success of Tegra 2 is debatable, it sure is better than it was a few months back and if this trend continues it will be successful.
