The new i5 2320 will sit between the i5 2310 and the i5 2500 in terms of performance and pricing. This processor will be based on the 32nm architecture and will come equipped with four cores. It will not support Hyper threading since it is not an i7 processor. It will come with 6MB of Intel's Smart Cache and the stock clock speed will be 3GHz. With 3.3GHz in turbo mode but notably this is not a "k" processor so it will have a locked multiplier.
The introductory price will probably be around $195 (wholesale price for 1000units will be $177) since that is about the half way point between the i5 2310 which costs $180 and the i5 2500 which costs $205. The TDP of this processor will be 95W like most of the Sandy Bridge i5 range. It will also have the built Intel graphics but unfortunately only the slower HD 2000 over the faster HD 3000, that will utilise the standard 850MHz clock speed.
